Overlooking the Kingswood Golf Estate and with the Outeniqua Mountains as a spectacular backdrop, Sundowner Guest House in George is popular for groups of golfers as well as tourists and businessmen visiting George. On the lawn overlooking Kingswood Golf Estate you can practice your driving skills or your putting.
The six guest rooms are all en-suite and offer spacious accommodation for up to 12 people with lovely views as a bonus.
The large and comfortable open plan living and dining area with its beautiful fireplace is a warm and pleasant "kuierplek" in which to relax. We're not licensed but you are welcome to bring your own and enjoy the friendly company of your hosts.
Sundowner Guest House will start you off each day with a full English breakfast. By prior arrangement, we can offer you a delicious dinner with leg of Karoo lamb or venison thanks to our connection with a game and sheep farm in Beaufort West. If you prefer, George offers a wide selection of eating places.
You are also welcome to braai at the fireplace. Coffee and tea is available throughout the day.
